CPR and Anaphylaxis (4 Hours)
The qualification is designed for people within the workplace, at home, or in a voluntary setting who may come into contact with someone who suffers from anaphylactic shock. The basic life support elements of the qualification enable learners to deliver CPR to casualties in an emergency situation.
The minimum age is 16 years or older, and the qualification is valid for 3 years.
CPR and AED (5 Hours)
This qualification is suitable for all learners aged 16 and above, in a wide variety of industries and employment situations, who work within a building where an AED (automated external defibrillator) is present and are required to be trained in its use as per the HSE recommendation. It is also suitable for learners who wish to learn an essential life-saving skill for personal interest and development.
Safe Moving and Handling (10 Hours)
Safe moving and handling is designed for those who are involved in carrying out manual handling tasks in their workplace. This includes employees working in industrial and office-based environments. It is an ideal introduction for those starting/returning to work involving manual handling activities, or as safety refresher training.
The minimum age is 16 years or older, and the qualification is valid for 3 years. You must be physically capable to ensure full participation in all aspects of the course. This qualification covers:
